A good detailer should be able to get that off with compound or wet sanding.I think a full detail for a car runs about $2-300 by me and I'm in NJ but it depends on where you are in NY.As far as doing work on a house before you own it you shouldn't do that.

Finally when we got to the third floor and he started looking out the windows he realized the walls to the whole house were severely bowed and at some point appeared like they were just going to collapse in on themselves.

I ended up not buying a $335,000 building where the inspection ($650 inspection) turned up that all the walls were bowing back in on themselves significantly and now 1.5 years later a co-worker is living in that building and is reporting to me that in all 4 units 5-7’ long cracks have started to appear in the walls that are at least 2” wide that they think is due to the bowed walls.

Scary thought - all of my previous fears could come true, and US credit can get downgraded again, compounding the rise in rates.You don't have to think too hard about this one - Fundamentally, do I think that my friend who makes $200K per year, with an 820 credit score, and who owns a nice house with 25% down payment and $750K mortgage collateralized by a property worth $1M is more likely to pay me back over the next 10-30 years?

IMO BP inc. could be more proactive with some pinned post like they do for promos linking the fb and the youtube victim pages as they featured his podcast twice and appeared on his podcast I think compounding this investor disaster further.
