If the fact that someone may speak to you in a different intonation than you are accustomed to hearing upsets you -- in other words, if you can't ignore what you might perceive or attack and keep your responses calm and respectful, you may be in for a rocky ride.

Secondly the state has plenty of "low-hanging fruit" to attack rather then going after the majority of intelligent landlords with legal if not politically correct lease terms.

By all means if you are uncomfortable with your understanding of landlord tenant laws for your state you should consult an attorney but don't be so quick to spend money just because some kid's mommy threatened to sue you because her little boy had an asthma attack

Of course, the moment she saw it she had breathing difficulties although I swear that was a self induced heart attack, but I wasn't too concerned about that as she only had a $35 copay for any medical treatment.We did recaulk the windows to be safe, and it never came back.
