Increased usage of single family homes for STR leads to higher rents for normal long-term rentals, since there's a lower supply of available housing.

Some tenants won't see that they will be not paying a electricity bill, and dismiss the property as having too high rent, or won't cap their electricity usage if the landlord is paying for it.

Under the 20-year power purchase agreement we have to pay SC for electricity usage at fixed rate per kWh escalating every year.

I was reminded by @JD Martin.I’ve actually had to replace front loaders because tenants didn’t know you had  to prop the door open after usage and let them air out to avoid mold/mildew/horrible smells.
