That's when I learned you can't trust the old style ballasts and I'm very careful not to install those kinds of light fixtures in any of our properties.I've heard of the belt going out on a dryer, stopping the turn of the drum, leaving the clothes stationary too close to the heating element and resulting in a fire.Snow bird friends of ours had a refrigerator ice maker water line malfunction in their vacation home in Palm Springs while they were away for the summer and the water ran for weeks throughout the house unchecked.

It simply isn't practical to take out small loans unless you have an opportunity to make a lot of money with the proceeds of that expensive small loan.The way his business works is that he sells the note to an investor (full disclosure - I bought a small one last year to "break the ice") and he earns his money on the fees, not on a spread on the interest rate.

Unless it's on ice and uses a puck, it doesn't really matter :-PI'm spending the day with snow removal - 2ft in the past 3 days w/ more on the way tomorrow - and working up analysis on two more overpriced 30-unit buildings.

Once the insulation is down we run 2x4 strappings along each rafter (anchored through all the foam to the rafter) to provide ventilation channels (we live in a snow climate and ice dams are a fact of life).
