I've had multiple partnerships in my career.

I have come across a lot of new agents that are never sure which brokerage to begin their real estate career.

Early on in my career , we did a job and the homeowner wanted to paint himself to save money .

they are buying the assets and closing.. and the big ones are all licensed.. so you can have an employee work for you in a very narrow scope.. but why u would want to do this is weird.. there is no real money in it and over time your not building a career your just wasting time. trying to figure out how to stay on the fringe.

I want to increase my personal income to help fund a second rental, but my career limits me mainly to remote jobs and gigs.I’m curious if there are any other investors out there that started with a similar skill set to mine, and what other skills they developed to help increase their W2 income and to help build their real estate knowledge and experience?

Then once I feel like they may be a suitable borrower for my business model, I consider the deal.
