Found a house while driving for dollars and, when I go to our county records, I see that:It's owned by Bank of America at  7105 Corporate Dr Plano, TX 75024It was bought in 2014 from the "Secretary of Housing and Urban" for $5.Can you please offer insight on what it means when the bank is shown as the current owner?

That is why some of the "services" out there for creating a legal entity in a state charge so much because they end up acting on your behalf of receiving mail and forwarding onto you.If you are creating the legal entity in the state that you live, I have found that you can do it for whatever the state registration fee is, some elbow grease and internet time on the Secretary of State (that you live in or where you plan to create the entity).

My accountant is completing my tax return and because we are focusing our attention on Texas (even though I haven't made any money yet) has advised me that any company completing transactions in any other state (other than Utah) will have to register in that state.I contacted the Texas Secretary of State and the fee is $750 but no one can really give me much advice on whether I actually need to register.

@John Bauer Simple things - for example, whenever I send a purchase agreement to my attorney, he adds in all the pertinent dates to his calendar, so the day my money goes hard or an option expires, or I have to get a document to the other party, I get a call from his secretary...
