i am newbie here as well and read foucus on one topic at a time really read all you can in this forum and join real estate aasociation REI in your hometown and you meet people in the "know" I started last week and in the cal classroom i met mortgage brokers, new people learning the market like me. the seminar leader is nice and very knowledgeable. he met a president at a bank through networking and how beneficial to network with people in REI especially if your looking for reputable vendors.

Wouldn't more appropriate goals look like this:I want to save $200 this month for a down payment on a home.I want to be the vice president of our company in the next 5 years.I want to exercise at least 60 minutes before work everyday.I want to show up to work on time driving a Mercedes 500 SL.I want to retire by 55 with at least $1,000,000 in the bank.I like to look at goals as the picture on a puzzle box.

As my mortgage broker said it looks like Remax and Caldwell Banker are running for President - signs in every yard.I actually bought the SFH at a short sale auction, but am looking at foreclosure and retail markets as I don't see a whole lot of price difference right now.I am anxious to hear from any other St.
