Those immigration programs were also interesting to the Chinese prior because of the additional freedoms that came with a Canadian passport - to have more children, easier to obtain visas for travel/business, Canadian pensions, great healthcare etc.

If you are going to keep out anyone that has or does smoke weed recreationally in your park you should go there on a Friday night after payday around 10:30 and start knocking on doors.Take about five notices with you for violation of leases because my bet is more than half of your current tenants are lighting up already.Especially if they are not elderly tenants.Look at it this way, if you are above the age of 30 and your skills and education have you peaked out at a career that will only provide renting a trailer in the midwest you probably are not making choices like where am I going to send my children to college, is our passports up to date for our summer trip to Spain, where can I get my BMW serviced?

Not a pretty site at immigration when you're actually trying to leave the country and they make you go into a small private room, pay a big fine and they put a full page sized ugly stamp in your passport with the amount of the fine written on it.

Anyways, in the case you do it in person, you only need a passport (or some type of ID), a minimum deposit, health insurance (this one I'm not entirely sure about but the lady that I opened with took mine so I don't know what its needed for), social security number, some other standard types of identification, and you need to sign some paperwork accepting stuff about overdue drafts or setting up options or something.

I also asked to photocopy their IDs or passports, and then checked the addresses on the IDs to see if they put it on the application.

That way, if there is ever a problem, it's easier to get rid of a tenant.As far as how I qualified them, I'd get proof they were a student, I'd copy their student visa in their passport.

I'd make a photocopy of the student's driver's license or passport, and I told them that this is a contract between me and them and if they break the contract, it would be them getting sued, that they were responsible as an adult with no parents involved.
