I would start here: Get a Real Estate License in Illinois - Illinois REALTORS - You need to take a 75 hour course and then pass the state and national exam...shouldn't be a problem for you!

Interesting that your market is slowing, but Chris's market is doing well around Orlando.Jacksonville hasn’t been building as many total units as Orlando, but Jacksonville has been top 10 in the nation for building new housing units as a percentage of current stock.

They are often too complicated for tenants to figure out, they have too many ways to fail, and they are often easier to circumvent than a standard key lock.I use Schlage electronic door locks with a simple numeric keypad.

It varies deal to deal, on one property maybe up to 65% LTV, but if you have more collateral the more likely they can make something work.For example, I've done numerous deals where we place a 2nd on 4-5 properties and the lender feels comfortable lending x amount of dollarsThese are very non traditional loans and no two will ever be the same.
