@Hyeseong Park  a "foreign resident" can't co-sign for you...but if he is a legal resident, then it's possible.

if you do not have US citizenship, a green card, or a visa, make sure that if you are seeking financing that you either have a US co-sponsor or your lender can lend to foreign nationals.

The issue with high interest rates is they are even higher for foreign investors.
