Do I need to register with a fictitious name?

You will still have to pay the major subs, plus the state will require you to get a licenced contractor to pull the permit for a job that bid.

The one thing you should understand is it is expensive.It is not just licencing fee, it just starts there.

Without a licence you are not allowed to collect a "commission" or broker a deal.

Liability insurance is not what defines if someone is a contractor or not, but generally businesses require their W9 contractors to be licenced and insured.

I think to get started on my goal to become a multi-family landlord, I would like to get an RE agent's licence.

Here is what the law says:- If the disability is not apparent, then the landlord can ask for written proof from a health care provider who must be licenced in the state.

If they are not interested in getting licenced and working for a registered cab company they are one step above unemployment and welfare.If you want to be a tenant you had better get a real job.
