New England tends to be pretty expensive if you don't have a lot of capital.

In the New England area I am finding higher priced homes and/or land values compared to other areas of the country.

Hi everyone, this is about new construction in Connecticut (CT).Roughly 85-90% of homes have full basements, and I think there's a psychological expectation in the market for a full basement in New England, to the point where the market might value a 2,500 sqft house WITH a basement more than a 3,500 sqft house with just a crawl space.My question for other developers or real estate agents/brokers out there, is what are the pros/cons of a crawl space over a basement?

I was also interested in New England, as we're originally from Vermont.  

The master bathroom will also have a hardwired towel warmer for 10 towels, and a ceiling mounted rain shower and four jets that was imported from England.

HAHA  We are not originally from New England, we are both Mid West transplants.

Since my initial goal is income, I am attracted to cap rates that can't be found in CA and hard to find in New England where I live 1/2 time.

I'm waiting for the burst and want to monitor, if there is anything specific for Rhode Island or New England that would be nice to see as well but a high-level view is all I'm looking for. 

I am a huge New England sports fan, music lover/musician as well as a sport car enthusiast.
