These are multiple assets of all sorts of things, retail, houses, condos, office. 

Also Condos are dealing with high special assessments.

I already have a hand shake deal on the next property, another duplex, that I will buy come summer time.  

We have just entered into contact on an investment property duplex.

These properties tend to hold value better and offer stronger appreciation compared to duplexes or small multifamily units.

I’ve considered multifamily or duplexes, but from what I’ve heard, they’re unideal right now, so I’m leaning towards STRs.I’ve put together a list of areas that seem STR-friendly with good tourism appeal, and I’d love to get feedback from people who know the San Antonio market well.

Or maybe Natomas but not a lot of duplexes available there. 

They can also be more forgiving on condos (warrantable versus non) at times.
