BTW Denver requires a permit for pretty much anything from 1/2 a sheet of dry wall and with the new lead regulations you should pretty much assume that ANY work will require a permit and plan accordingly.

While you are clearly frustrated and understandably so, your situation is not as cut and dry of that of an ordinary landlord.

And in terms of the work we've had done, I've been told that once you're "dried in" it can also qualify as a fix and flip loan.
