I have 10 meg fiber optic from verizon, so its no problem now.From my experience, dont try it if you have anything under 768 dsl or equivelent.

Also, ask about fiber reinforcement for the shotcrete.

Google Fiber is one well-known provider; AT&T is claiming they will offer it in some cities where they paid off the city councils to keep Google out. 

I don't know if it's asbestos or fiber cement tiles though, but based on "style" I am assuming asbestos.  

Along with their overall lack of product knowledge and application, their profit margins on products such as vinyl siding, fiber cement siding, windows and roofing materials are ungodly high!

Our property is very close to high-speed internet fiber and there is a shortage of office, including home office, type spaces here in the SF Bay Area.

Many people think asbestos will jump right out and get you, but it's not like that and generally is safe as long as you're not breathing airborne fibers.

@David LiuNot sure about your market, but septic inspections here normally will snake the tank and leach field with a fiber optic line / camera. 

I purchased 35 acres of farmland outright and looking to turn into 5 acres lots (to avoid rezoning hassles) and I have to bring power and fiber as well as a country road to the lots.

But a small sign of hope is that there are several start ups that are starting to gain big momentum as natural fiber welding, bump boxes and an automation company in Mortin Il that hopefully would bring more jobs and security tonthe area.Also Rivian is close by and gearing up for production I would think it should affect positively in Morton area and maybe some of East Peoria/Peoria area but for sure the Bloomington/Normal area.I would say in general its a good place to invest for buy and hold strategy.
