I will move forward with my journey and just follow the positive people in this group that is amazing.I get the Ra RA Ra stuff.. just sometimes reality comes into play.. and its sad to see people run down these rabbit holes.. when those with decades of experience in the industry know better.. just trying to give both sides..   

The social side of Biggerpockets, like newsletters, blogs, and SM sites, is part of the problem.  

I think that a Short Sale would be the best option to get some discounts/concessions from the lender - however you would need to have a knowledgable Short Sale agent on the seller side.

And all of that with training wheels, it is very hard to screw it up on a consequential scale.Because it is 2025 and RE is not cheap anymore I will encourage you to also look into building a business on the side.

Buy and large I manage these rentals and we think of it as my side venture, not his.i already have the LLC but my tax guy won't file the rental in the llc because he says I need more than one rental and probably a Different kind of business entity.

And this doesn't even hit on the dealing with contractors side, which need daily oversight if you want things done correctly.

On the bright side, you kept your integrity and made a genuine effort—something they sadly missed out on appreciating.

I am completely new to the investing side and would love to find something to meet new people/learn as well as learn more about the city.
