Under the same scenario, a GP with a fixed percent return would probably make the choice to sell and take profits because they would see the 20/80 decision as a bad bet. 

I know many people are still struggling with their situation, but it is nice to see others who are finally making progress here.

My bet is they won't be happy about it.  

In fact, I would bet that the only stockholders that would have enough clout to move prices, such as pension funds and the like, would probably appreciate a bank that maintains clear line-of-sight between the note holder and mortgagee.
