Demo the home and builder from ground up What was the outcome?

Hi everyone,I started a new construction project in Cape Coral nearly 3 years ago and after very little progress and a few escalations, I've fired the builder.

Since I'm approaching the stage where I'm looking around for a builder what are your thoughts on working with a seasoned rehabber that wants to get into GCing new construction?  

I’m curious to what all my builders in Houston think.

They have a good and simple lease builder as well.Use rentometer and the BP Pro rental calculator to be sure you price it correctly, and take into consideration any expenses you might not have considered.

Should I get into contracting with a flipper or custoM home builder for 50k a year 1099 and start my own llc and be a “real estate professional” and learn the ins and outs while making less money at first,  or take a sales job 9-5 that makes 150k a year w2 and build up capital first. 

Hi everyone,I recently finished up a builder mentorship program in Dallas, TX where we built a home (1500 sqft 3bd 2.5ba) from the ground up.

For jobs like this in the future I plan to run as owner/builder and hire/schedule subs myself.

Here in the Reno Tahoe, NV area there are new builds that the builder is offering financing in the 5% range.

We bought a 120k excavator as a builder.
