Here are some of my thoughts: The teacher is seeking another revenue stream, The teacher is a phony in terms of his success and seeks others to actually help himself, the teacher is indeed a good god-fearing person who makes time to help others, the teacher actually enjoys helping as a way to build his ego and his self-esteem.
