As a comparison, there will still houses with multiple bedrooms going for $500 - $700 a night a couple weeks out.Now if our place was down in the Garden District or CBD, we could have gotten more. 

Ours is a garden level 1/1 with on street parking so we may not catch the average 1br rate. 

Incidentally, The Madison Square Garden ownership group teamed up with Irving Azoff (those of you into music will recognize that name) to totally refurbish the FORUM arena and now mega bands like the Eagles, Phish etc have played many nights there. 

How is an area like Garden Hills or Peachtree Hills in Buckhead classified? 

@Stephen Camardo if you have trouble getting to the property regularly (once a month) you may want to hire a local lawn and garden company.

Ivy ground cover around that tree to end of the garden toward the drive way.Set a round shrub between the front tree, centered between the tree, drive and sidewalk, triangularly centered.

That to me is really more a way to tie up the land for a long time, speculating on future development, than an agricultural business.While I think the community gardens can be great for a neighborhood, and a few people are making money growing niche agricultural products, I don't see urban farming as something that will employ large numbers of people or consume a large proportion of Detroit's vacant land.

We include all kinds of amenities, including  providing garden space, compost bins, energy efficiency appliances, improved insulation, bike parking.

Now where the trend in site built is to expand the house and shrink the lot - so that outdoor space is all but gone and what there is is never used because it has no privacy, offsite presents the great opportunity to include large, pleasant, private garden like courtyards situated between each  home.
