We’ve already lined up a few great speakers.

Yep,  we will have the meeting on Third Monday with a new speaker.    

We aren’t planning any presentations or speakers so this is a networking-only meeting.

You sit in expensive 3 day meetings, listen to very dynamic speakers who share what look like plausible results and then told there's so much more if you sign up for up $40,000.00 ( which I am ashamed to say I payed). 

The only thing I would be able to sell at the moment is a $100 speaker as well as a 50 inch TV, that’s all I have to my name, so I’d rather keep these things and maybe sell them in the near future when I have 10-15k saved up. 25k a year; that seems insane, but definitely not impossible.

I won’t have room for a home theater, so I’m going to put a nice big flat screen in the living room with a sound bar or speaker system and then add a nice comfy sectional.

Subwoofers (audio speakers dedicated to a powerful bass reverberation) are an inherent menace to anyone near a person using one. 

They didn't talk about it in the study session, but I expect they will also charge people to become approved inspectors.In the study session, the speaker mentions that having the city do the inspections was considered too expensive, so it was put on the landlords. 

Around 7 PM a featured speaker will discuss over 30 websites that can help you in your real estate business.There’s typically a good mix of attendees - usually one or more attorneys, a number of agents, many experienced investors, landlords, flippers, rehabbers, contractors, lenders, etc.

I am not in any way affiliated with them, but I think the A/CREIA is one of the best in the area- they usually have good attendance, bring interesting speakers in, have a solid group of vendors, and are just generally well-organized (unlike the REIA that I belong to, which is a big joke).
