The second floor seems to have an extension too with french doors. that is blocking the front windows light

if you mean a loan from my companies 401k, then it would be a good idea, but my employer is a french-start up and they are still learning what it means for Americans to have to save for their own retirement. :)

I think the problem with assuming the strategy from the last war is about the same as the French assuming they were safe behind the Maginot line.What I mean by that, is the years leading up to 2008, there was a massive bubble, people were buying every SFH that was built. 

Interesting discussion............your market is an international border away from mine, most people in your area speak French and yet the challenges are pretty much the same-how to get away from those fours, fives and sixes on the cap table!

I've used Home Depot in the past for Jeld-Wen sash inserts, but now need a whole-house order of (probably vinyl) windows, nice tall divided light french doors, custom shape for attic buildout, etc.

Made a couple of HVAC repairs and I need to install new rear and side entry french doors - these are backordered due to demand from Harvey.
