Keep in mind that many businesses are now outsourcing employment verifications to The Work Number or other third party companies.I hope this helps with your verifications.

Landlording has opened our eyes to  how much can be outsourced at reasonable costs, and if we watch the experts we can even easily learn to be more handy if we want.Start outsourcing by having a inspection if you want to move forward.  

While I now outsource the day to day Property management, I'm not yet at a place where I can outsource the locating and just give my cash to someone to buy for me.

I now use Adobe Dreamweaver to edit it and update it myself...though you can outsource that work to a VA as well.If you've got a template in mind, I can recommend a good designer to put it together.

Eh...not to say this is a bad idea, but in my opinion, I think its more effective to just focus on the core concept of the business, the actual lease of the property to generate good profits rather than trying to nickel and dime tenants into more profits.Obviously, items like laundry services and perhaps vending machines might work well and make since in a multifamily setting, but I think offering to wide of a selection of add-ons cause an over complexity to a business that often runs smoothest when kept simple.In a large, class A facility, there are probably lots of avenues for setting up additional revenue streams and services, much of what can be outsourced, but for attempting to confuse a lease with different services and add on costs can often become a headache to manage on top of the tenants.At the very least, instead of offering additional services, I would simply partner with local businesses who might allow you to profit from discount, bulk pricing which you can then up charge to tenants.

If you are targeting, either learn how to (or outsource) write (writing) effective copy and develop (developing) a marketing strategy that will build trust with your market over time. 

REI interests ranged from a mixture of builders, rehabbers, flippers, buy & hold (some self-manage and some outsource to property management companies), private money lenders, vendors.

It wouldn't hurt to learn some skills in fixing things, painting, simple repairs - even if you plan to outsource these functions as you grow, you'll be a better negotiator with your contractor or property manager if you know how much stuff costs and how much work is involved in different tasks.

Though I 'd much prefer it outsourced as my job is taking too much time away.
