I'm in a similar situation as @Curt Smith and I'm also trying to find a good cloud based bookkeeping solution.I ruled out Buildium b/c I use a property management company that handles all of the tenant management, rent collection, etc part of my business.  

For someone small, you might want to do it in phases (i.e. a one-time project CFO to guide you that includes setting up your accounts & then as you grow adding a bookkeeper. 

I am able to do my own book keeping, which allows me to save on costs and stay involved in my cash management.

Totally a shot in the dark here but I'm wondering if you have some sort of an accounting or book-keeping type of background/mind? 

I am currently working with one who is good bookkeeper in my point of view.

From what I've seen both as an REI myself and the owner of a bookkeeping firm that serves REIs, it's very hard to qualify for lending using a rental portfolio's income.

Our virtual assistant agency specializes in catering to the unique needs of real estate professionals, offering support in areas such as lead generation, bookkeeping, property management, and virtual assistance. 

This makes record and bookkeeping easier plus you will only need two Corporate Accounts, for the Umbrella LLC (a Checking Account and a Savings Account).

For a portfolio this size, I would recommend hiring a bookkeeper.

Then I eventually remembered that I love real estate, not bookkeeping or accounting!
