By all means if you are uncomfortable with your understanding of landlord tenant laws for your state you should consult an attorney but don't be so quick to spend money just because some kid's mommy threatened to sue you because her little boy had an asthma attack

Yes @Rick Santasiere it is sorta bad, to move her stuff - but suggested in a manner if all else fails and she thinks removing rotten food was bad and upset her so that she attacked people, that moving her stuff would really cause a big problem but be ready to record it and call police immediately.

If you attack them over their entire housekeeping skills, they'll be less likely to be cooperative, in my experience.
