Finding Buyers is something that is not supplied in any course I have previewed.. ( many of the best out there. ) Lee Arnold System is the most realistic as you can also partner and get financed with his enterprise.. but if you do not get the education I recommend your in danger of big failures.. do you want to gamble or make money ?

I haven't found that out yet.As far as alternatives go:Bitcoin - Feels more like gambling or playing the lottery than any actual investing, over the long haulGold/Oil/Gas - I'm not all that familiar with the various commodities. 

You are just gambling at that point.

That is a gamble and it should not play a factor in your purchase.  

@Anthony Navarro the decision to stay local vs a few hours or even a different state is a debate that ignites fairly often. 

I don't see the cash being taxed everywhere matching the appreciation --- which is a gamble, but real estate investing is speculation, or at least has been since colonial days in this country/region. 

(Cashflow from other investments make this possible) They invest following the macro and micro trends and don’t gamble on gimmicks such as guessing where Amazon’s next HQ is going or where the hurricanes just crushed a market.

If you have/can get gas at the property, you can install a gas range on a 120v 15 or 20 amp circuit (for the igniter and clock/timer), and, depending on the size of that unit, may not need to increase service. 

If I wanted to gamble on appreciation with little to no cashflow, I might buy in one of the places you listed. 

I've found some on Craigslist that were pretty good but that can be a gamble.
