I am 25 years old, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.

I found a multi family building 3 unit 3 stories in my area brooklyn NY region and i seen it boarded up did a lil reseach found out there was a big fire that burnt the 2nd floor up but i use to live there as a child and i know it has great potential when rehabbed but i don't know how much a project like that would be and is it too much if I'm beginner ? 

I heard Cleveland Heights, Brooklyn, Shaker Heights etc.

I currently live in Brooklyn.

I agree, I got scammed last year by one "mentor" program based out of Brooklyn and now have to take legal action to get my money back.

Do I need to put 25% down because it's a second property or are there ways for me to purchase with 5% like I did with my first property?

I know parts of Brooklyn have been on fire the last 10 years and I think SFH that originally had bidding wars are now starting to sell just shy of asking. 

I think Old Brooklyn is one to keep on the radar. 

Will you be moving here or investing remotely from brooklyn?
