A recession is overdue and I am hoarding cash to take advantage of it.That said, most folks that got caught holding the bag back in 2008 turned to vacation rentals to carry their homes, and were successful doing so. 

Its now 5 days overdue and nothing.I was chatting with the former owner, who told me she was trying to evict her because she had a pet pig in the unit.

Other than a few stocks, I have no investments and it's well overdue that I get into the real estate game.

It is not as lengthy as it used to be and is getting easier (i.e. going back to normal), however, if you do not follow the process properly you can definitely run into either cost overruns or other problems.  

@Brent Coombs  It was sort if a rather  tongue in cheek lengthy post about the definition, we do it legally, we buy we close we sell.
