I want to address the statement about those that hover and market TK.I believe the issue with that is created by BP itself.. for these folks to come out with full disclosure that they are compensated sometimes is seen by the mods as advertising.

Doing a workout with a NP borrower usually is a mod or forbearance, we do not modify the original note or DOT or Mortgage, which stays "as is", we just reference it in the modification agreement.

I think it has been mentioned on a couple pod casts that some people have success because if you are not working with a buyers agent then they could rep you and get both sides of the commission.
