Landlords shouldn't allow it because they don't know who the Tenant is placing in the property, that they are obeying the laws, paying taxes, etc.Most AirBnB arbitrage people that I've dealt with are not business savvy, they live off the cashflow and don't maintain reserves, and they will pull stakes and leave you hanging the minute something changes.If your property is suitable for AirBnB and can make more money doing it, you should do it yourself.
