I am sure everyone has a different view on this  topic and of course it's dependent on what your needs are.Some perhaps will want an overseas trip every year, wining and dining every week, some  toys along the way and others will be prepared to live a simple life.What income are you aiming achieve......from property investing?

One of the rooms used to be a formal dining room and the other an office so it just depends on how the next family wants to use it.

We have families spread across a couple of continents so time with each, two vacations/year, some time dining out, etc.

Left 19 years ago from the Central Valley to Vegas for more business opportunities, entertainment and dining choices, less traffic, cheaper gas, no income tax, cheaper flights, bigger newer houses, lower utilities, gambling, lower property taxes, lower sales tax, cheaper insurance, real estate investing for all those reasons plus MUCH more favorable to landlords. 

People shoplift from the local convenience store, homeless people do beer grabs at the liquor store, diners dine and dash, employees steal, rehabbers get appliances stolen, insurance companies get fraudulent claims, banks have loans go bad, tenants don't pay rent, etc.You're going through your business's period of loss.

I'm concerned the problem won't be solved until quite a bit of permanent ecosystem damage is done, as well as drastically impacting some of the stunning recreational sources our state has to offer.

I went back and looked at the stats and I was stunned.

And let’s not forget about the Great Lakes, water ways, and rivers that are all at your finger tips not to mention Detroit’s abundance of stunning and glorious architecture.

We golf, fish, go to the beach, dine out at great restaurants, have a night life.
