I wish I could build new construction and rent them out, but I'm in a market where the sweet spot for rent is around $1,000/mo so there's no way to make the numbers work on a new build.

@Jody Schnurrenberger I agree Jody - our area is kind of up and coming wine country so I think just owning the land would be a long term play - I could always develop it into a storage facility, apartments or duplexes or switch the tiny homes to airbnbs...the area is a little funky and right now I think the county could potentially approve a couple different ki ds of uses - or maybe not!

So there’s a good chance aluminum still in use today is pretty old by now, and electrical systems don’t improve much with age like wine and women do (my opinion on the latter but fact-based for electrical wires and wine).
