On windows, you might try just cutting them in by hand and if need be run paint an eigth or so onto glass and after a day or two go around with a new razor blade and clean it up.

After including the price of blades, epoxy, sealant, and core bits I am usually between $12-$16 a square foot.My rentals are middle class (no war zones and no rough areas) and installing granite is an easy way to separate my properties from others.

I plan to take it apart this summer and clean the burners (hack saw blade to the slots) and seal up any gaps in the cast iron puzzle pieces that comprise the combustion chamber (but first I will blow theatrical smoke inside the chamber in order to suss out where any potential leaks might be).

I am going to have them jet clean everything that they can, upstairs and down.The original cleanout was with a cable auger with no blades, just a bent section of cable at the end.

unbolt it from the floor or use a multitool with a good metal cutting blade to cut the bolts. sawzaw with metal cutting blade might do the trick too.

Lots of labor and several saw blades... but I know it is feasible.
