Things like a small stain on the kitchen floor or nic in the counter top.

Looking around I saw that tell tale sign of black dotted stains around the outlets and the light switches, pic is attached.  

I wanted to go in with a paint gun prior to ripping out the carpet and just go nuts priming/sealing everything (since there is a ton of old stained shiplap panelling).

Walls and painted woodwork get a top quality odor/stain blocking primer and are finished with a good top coat of paint.The ozone machine is a good idea to use at the end to give the place a dose of freshness.

Try laminate flooring throughout in some of the units, it doesn't smell, stain, or wear like carpet does.

"Produced one bastard to stain the good earth" So distasteful to say about a child and coming from a Christian at that.

BP,     My wife and I are going through our inspection report for a two family we have an accepted offer on and the inspector noticed that there are black soot like heat streaks staining above the baseboard heat in the bedroom and living room of rental unit.
