As you mentioned, just avoid any protected class discrimination.I once told my Army commander that I rated two soldiers the same when he asked me for a recommendation.

As of now, I am working in military intelligence as an enlisted Soldier.

Just about every solider qualifies and a lot of soldiers buy when they are not in good financial position to do so.  

Because war sucks out loud and the way our government treats our soldiers after they return from their stupid wars is even worse.My father served.  

Also, being a Soldier, I will be deployed for a bit of that 1st year.
