I believe a line of credit would be your best bet because it would give you the flexibility to purchase properties quickly and replenish itself once it's paid off.

I'm thinking that if I can live off of the income from my practice and let the apartments be their own self-sustaining animal...can't really chip away as it would constantly be replenishing itself no?
