I’ve been having a difficult time figuring out how to find the owner’s information for properties I discover while driving for dollars.The land registry office is supposed to provide this info but Service Ontario locations are closed due to covid and finding the information online get married very confusing if you don’t know where to look/specific searches to conduct.Can anyone provide me with insight as to how I can get this information??

Just google the registry of deeds (or land registry depending on what they call it) for the county or town (again, depending on how they organize this info) and you should be able to find something.

There are national historical home registries and oversight groups, but I suspect most of the funding is controlled and distributed at the local levels.

The title company just needs to contact the ground rent holder listed on the ground rent registry to redeem the ground rent.

They sent me a series of “serious leads”, the first two were just dead numbers, and the rest were on the National DNC registry.
