Hi all - I posted a similar question on another thread but want to approach it from a different angle.As we know Boston/sorrounding towns is an expensive market and finding cash flow is a challenge.With that said, there's potential in other cities around the country.

The number one comment from all potential buyers was the design.

I am from some of the worst areas in Detroit and have since moved outside of the areas that would be considered “unsafe” but because I am from Detroit I am familiar with areas that are redeveloping and have great growth potential; lots of new construction, townhomes even, and lots of land.

Apparently some pretty sketchy people from that building are hanging out in front of mine which is scaring potential tenants away when our property manager brings them around.

I have a potential deal on the hook however, the property has been neglected by its previous and current owners and the current tenant isn't the cleanest.

Their success speaks volumes however, its a bit much for me to stomach for a potential benefit.
