The permit will probably cost $5K alone, maybe a little less.

.), they should be notifying you and you may have to face any repercussions (penalties, pauses on your permits, etc.) 

Always get permits for conversions and be cognizant of the experience renters will have in your home.

They performed their services negligently and on top of that forged my signatures on permit submission documents.
