When your tax professional calculates your UDFI tax, you can obtain information from the asset sponsor for potential write-offs. 

Does anyone have experience obtaining a variance for this type of usage?  

Things only have value as long as enough people agree it has value and are willing to bid against each other to obtain it.  

First, I have read that many people are not obtaining permits.

The next steps are obtaining the Judgment, followed by setting a sale date.

Most fail to take this last step, or merely obtain insurance certs where they are listed as a certificate holder. 

But the way this unfolded was I did the research and could have obtained a Letter of No Objection.

Because it can take 6 months - 2 years to obtain a court date, judicial foreclosures in general take longer than non judicial foreclosures.  

Second position lienholder have done some shady stuff in order to delay a loss, including filing suit against all parties or trying to obtain a temporary restraining order.
