With house hacking (mentioned in the thread), the more uncomfortable you're willing to live, the better the numbers will be, the more comfortable you need to live, the worse the numbers will be.I've house hacked twice in Reno, NV and it's changed my life.

How many people every year pour out there life savings to come for a vacation, just from TX, not even mentioning the US or rest of world. 

Life it too short to teach people that won't follow through...or to spend money learning stuff that you won't apply.

Given their age and position in life… mailbox money flow forever sounds like a good start to retirement to me!

Columbus presents a little different type of investing from Cleveland but you can still find good properties that will give you some cashflow each month (not life changing but with your goal of 100 doors then it'll add up eventually).

Don't make your life more complicated than it has to be.

It would take you a life time of cash flow in Ohio to get that return.I would strongly advise you against paying cash for a $100k property.

And since your life, such as it is, consists of responding to every BP post mentioning yourself within 15 seconds, you should have no problem responding within the next, say, 1 hour with your “evidence” to back up your slanderous remark.
