No doubt there are some gorgeous properties, many on the historic register.  

Seems to me, that is one of the best ways to cut your teeth in this business.  

The SFR got me into rentals for ~2years where I cut my teeth on being a LL - - it was useful experience.

Every time I go home to visit family I'm amazed at how gorgeous the place is although as a teenager all I wanted to do was leave.

(Basically gorgeous neglected Victorian in middle of beautiful town).
