Since the stairway is dark wood, I am thinking to put dark hardwood on the lower level.

I'm looking for someone to shadow in the greater San Jose area.

I'm willing to work for a mentor for free just so I can shadow whomever that person might be..

Hello AllI have been hiding in the shadows for some time now, faithfully watching webinars every Wednesday night, downloading podcasts to listen in car, and reading reading reading from forums to Kyosaki to John Schaub to BP Beginners Guide to REI and whatever else I can get my hands on.Huge believer in the power of passive income and the teachings of Tim Ferris.

If food / fast food / drive thru - the brand needs to go dark and buy out of lease or file's BK - is there a replacement brand waiting in the wings.  

You could shadow them and see all of their properties in action.It just seems you would have been better off waiting and staying local to buy your first property especially with the low price points.

Unit B is fine but unit A was the one lived in by the previous owner.About 400SF of space, which included the entrance foyer and the kitchen, requires some "tweaking".The owner has lined the walls from floor to ceiling with dark wood panels with some elaborate trims.To the right, you can see a bar. 

This is because you as the investor/buyer gives them a way out of the dark place they are in (i.e. foreclosure, the verge of bankruptcy).

I'm thinking something dark because the counter tops are light. 

Reason for this post is trying to find somebody locally in the south jersey area that I could shadow.
