If you want to use the VA loan, I would just go ahead and do it in your personal name and just make sure you have a good insurance policy (the first line of defense). 

I don't know what your state's statutory or case law states about the lease provision you mentioned, but assuming it's a valid lease provision, you could give notice of lease termination based on that provision, but be careful, because if you deliver a notice to pay in conjunction with a notice to terminate, a court your jurisdiction could rule that the 2 notices are "confusing" and could constitute a defense for the tenant.

Part of the reason I'm attracted to Huntsville is the thriving aerospace, defense, and technology sectors and all the new developments such as Toyota's manufacturing plant, Blue Origin investments, and Facebook's Data Center for example. 

The growth that comes from the knowledge gained through classes, conferences, and networking with industry professionals is far more beneficial than occasional referrals.
