A lot of tenants are quick to throw out the "I will have my lawyer review this" statement just to have you concede to their demands. 

If you lose you could be out $180 plus court costs but you probably will not lose outright and you seem ready to concede the $180 anyway.

But if you want me to concede that over the last 40 years, SJ properties gone up more I'll 100% do that.  

This is something you could possibly concede or they may just refuse to pay.I feel bad for the contractor because a mistake like this is costly.

Hell no...... if the rent you set is in line with the local going rate, DO NOT concede it for a certain tenant.

Of-course the goal is to not have to make concessions as a dedicate manager, but rather just get it right, but the small times that this does occur you need to be able to view and address it in a manner that os advantageous to the investor, as your fiduciary duty is the success of there investment, of this means conceding on something then thats what it takes, if it means going above and beyond time and time again, then thats what it takes.
