You can get 10 year terms now...I only found out AFTER I had renewed my mortgage as my banker never bothered to tell me.For sales, I think it is market dependent.

Alternately, I feel like end buyers also understand the deal when they buy from a wholesaler, and if they also have some integrity, they aren't bothered that a wholesaler profits from an assignment.

Perhaps with only one rental in the portfolio, we were a fish too small to bother with. 

I was on the same situation.Just call the tree guy(dont bother call the PM), they would come in 12 hours.

In regards to what the listing agent told you, she has the inside track on all the bids that have been submitted on the property thus far and is most likely giving you the type of advice that most agents wouldn't bother trying to obtain for their clients.
