Based on what I'm seeing in some FB groups (don't intend on buying here), there appears to be a lot of scammers.

I’m starting with just 1 listing but plan to recruit neighbors in my beach market to list on my custom website tailored to our community / market so I hope to be at 10+ listings soon even though I only own & operate 1 right now.Guesty’s pricing did not appear to be competitive and for someone starting with fewer than 4 units but planning to scale up behind that, Guesty does not offer a migration path from their “for hosts” product to their “for pros” version - it would have been a complete redo on setting everything up.

I'm also pretty new and still in college so I don't want my experience or appearance jeopordize any deals so it's unrealistic for me to go to the properties in person.

Our plan is occupy the home as our primary residence.After further digging through the Grantor/Grantee Index it appears that the original lien that is being auctioned is from 2005 and a couple of the banks listed on that original Deed of Trust are now defunct and closed (one is First Franklin).

@Jeff Galak no XP with either, but after looking over the sites both appear to be mostly a call line and contractor dispatcher, which many self-managed investors can often handle now via contractor directories like Thumbtack, Angie’s List to start until you find your reliable go-to’s.

FInd it and fix it first.The mouse thing is not that big a deal... but it wouldn't hurt to have an electrician go up into the attic and verify that the wiring is ok.It appears to be coming from outside from the downspout terminating close to foundation and a small hole in the outer wall.

I have tried to do my due diligence on the company and founders and it appears to be legitimate - but I could be missing some things.

Unfortunately, appears you've gotten exactly what you deserved due to your poor screening.Hopefully, you've learned from this painful lesson.Hire a well-screened landlord-tenant attorney and evict them and sue for damages.
