Amateurs don't because they KNOW they can get more for the house ( since it's theirs I assume!).

The learning curve is steep, and amateurs can lose a lot of money doing stupid things.

I send clients to them to get ideas.There are a LOT of wannabe designers out there who love to do amateur designing. 

Far too many investors, particularly amateurs, waste their time and money on an LLC without knowing what it does or doesn't do.Focus on acquiring property.

Do you appear to be an experienced professional or a part time amateur?      

I have read from multiple sources about the benefits of a property manager, CPA, attorney, mortgage broker, etc...and as an amateur in this field I want all the help I can get from them! 

If an agent is not charging you this fee it is likely because they're amateurs and are desperate for a deal.

Even when there are more units available during a downturn, there are a ton of landlords that are amateur landlords.
