You can contest taxes on your own with no cost other then your time but would advise you dont for the same reasons you dont change your own car brakes or replace your own roof.

my thought process is cash flow is just a place setter so you can enjoy appreciation .. so even brake even or a little negative is fine in markets that move up more than a few % a year
