I do well, at least enough to go on vacations as a family, put money into high yield savings accounts, max out the ROTHs and add to investments when I can with money saved in savings and checking accounts.

Heck my local credit union pays 3.5% on its basic account.

I just had to take extra money out of my personal account and funnel into my rental account. 

You might make more money in a good interest account or dividend paying stocks, without the hassles of tenants. 

.; and capital to pay for options, marketing, legal counsel, accounting, tax advise, etc.  

U may want to talk to your account rep and get a clarification of this. whole notes it appears they do assign 100% interest to the investor .. and in my mind that is the safest way to do these.
